Edgewater Grill at San Diego Seaport Village is the fifth incarnation of the same restaurant. It began when Seaport Village opened in 1980 as La Salsa. Soon it was to become "The Mexican Restaurant" next "Papagayo". After 10 years as Papagayo it became "Luigi Al Mare", then 5 years later "Edgewater Grill". Nancy painted the wall murals and graphics for all 5 different themes. The last 3 times the owners have remained the same, making this restaurant a long time favorite in San Diego. Below is a link to Nancy's book showcasing 25 years of murals at the Edgewater Grill with 75 photos of this restaurant from its beginning in 1980 until the present.
